Dr. Diganta Kumar Pathak is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV), Golaghat, Assam. He completed his MCA from Assam Engineering College, M.Tech in Information Technology, and PhD from Gauhati University.

His research interests include Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Hyperspectral Image Analysis, Remote Sensing, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence. He has contributed to research in hyperspectral image classification, spectral-spatial feature learning, and intelligent image analysis systems. Dr. Pathak has published research works in reputed journals and international conferences, particularly in the areas of hyperspectral image classification and machine learning-based remote sensing applications. He is actively involved in academic teaching, research supervision, and collaborative interdisciplinary projects related to intelligent systems, computer vision, and geospatial image analytics at Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya.
